A great fun and social club event where anyone could be the winner and win prizes! Six races run over the same demanding course with runners setting off at staggered times depending on running ability; the slowest first and the fastest last with the aim that everyone finishes at roughly the same time.
2020 dates (6.30pm registration, first runner 7pm):
Thursday 30 April, Thursday 14 May, Thursday 28 May, Thursday 25 June, Thursday 9 July, Thursday 23 July
Race category prizes are presented in the bar after each run* and series category prizes are awarded after the last race with a commemorative gift for all eligible members (please see race rules below).£2.50 per person for senior series course (or £10 for the whole series payable on or before the first race)
£1 per junior for the junior series course (or £4 for the whole series payable on or before the first race)

Junior prize presentation: approx. 8.10pm in the clubhouse after the senior race
Senior prize presentation: approx. 8.45pm in the bar over a drink or two!
*Please note prizes are only available for collection in person at the presentation after the race
Series race rules:
- Strictly fully paid active club members only
- This is a club event and to help marshals identity runners please wear club colours, not our race t-shirts
- To complete the senior or junior series and place in the overall series results entrants need to run four of the six races**
- Entrants will be eligible for a commemorative gift if:
£10 is paid for senior series course, or £4 for the junior series course, on or before the first race and run/marshal any number of races.
You run and/or marshal a combination of four races, however your name must be on the official marshal rota before the race you help at.
The junior commemorative gift may differ from the senior series gift.
- The vets team for ladies and men starts at age 45
**For those who run all six races the best four times count towards the final results so your final placing is likely to be higher.
Marshals (and other helpers) are needed for this event to go ahead. A marshal list will be put up in the clubhouse and ideally this needs to be full by the Tuesday before the race. If there are not enough marshals on any of the evenings the race may not be able to go ahead! Entrants are encouraged to marshal one race.
