Running group rules

The following rules will apply from Monday 17 May 2021

All members attending group runs must read the Risk Assessment and abide with the below rules which include the booking information.

  1. Do not attend group runs if you, someone in your household (including your support bubble) or anyone you have been in contact with has tested positive for COVID-19, has any symptoms or if you are self-isolating following government guidelines/NHS Test and Trace. You should stay at home. If you test positive or become symptomatic and have been to the clubhouse or attended club runs you must report this to the club immediately and fill in this UKA Report Form.
  2. If you have travelled abroad, please follow government self-isolation guidelines before coming to a group run. If self-isolation is not required, please allow 48 hours before returning.
  3. Maintain social distancing at all times to ensure the safety of yourself and others. Runners must stay ‘1m plus’ apart at all times and where possible should be side by side and not facing each other.
  4. Kindly be respectful to the community while running; do not put members of the public at risk. Keep 2m away from all members of the public wherever possible.
  5. A maximum of 30 members may congregate outside the clubhouse at any one time. Maximum of 30 runners per group with a coach/leader to runner 1:12 ratio.
  6. All members are welcome to simply turn up at the clubhouse for 6pm Tuesday and Thursday groups runs. Depending on runner numbers and abilities these may be split into more than one group. The group leader will make a note of all runners attending for Track and Trace (after 21 days details will be destroyed, see the Bideford AAC Privacy Policy).
  7. Arrive ready to train, the clubhouse is closed and there are no changing or showering facilities at the clubhouse.
  8. There are no storage facilities at the clubhouse and no belongings (including keys) can be left whilst running.
  9. If the clubhouse is open there will be access to toilets, please follow the rules detailed below.

Clubhouse access if using as a meeting point or passing while running

From Monday 17 May the clubhouse hall is available for booking from approximately 4pm to 9pm and may be open during these times. Please follow the below rules:

  1. Strictly no admission if the clubhouse is closed (do not use your key if you have one).
  2. There are no storage facilities at the clubhouse and no belongings (including keys) are to be left whilst running. Any items left in the hall will be disposed of.
  3. There are no changing or showering facilities; do not use toilets for changing.
  4. Please adhere to social distancing guidelines and follow the clubhouse arrows and signs at all times. A face covering must be worn at all times while moving around the clubhouse.
  5. On entering the clubhouse use the hand sanitiser which will be clearly labelled and available at various locations throughout the clubhouse.
  6. Every member will need to sign in by providing your name and contact details for Track/Test and Trace (after 21 days details will be destroyed, see our Privacy Policy) and/or checking in using the official NHS QR code poster with the NHS COVID-19 app.
  7. Clubhouse doorways and entrances will be no-stop areas and will be marked with crossing to maintain social distancing. Please follow the arrows and signs displayed at all times.
  8. Toilet access will be via a marked walkway; please stick to this walkway at all times; do not stop and talk to anyone (remember to wear a face covering, use hand sanitiser and sign in).
  9.
