A club favourite, it was hot and sunny with refreshments after! Josh Benford won the race in a new record time (sorry Mark Jenkin) of 0:34:18, John O’Donoghue 5th in 0:37:58, Gary Blight 0:42:21, James Jewell, 0:42:19, Mark Curtis 0:43:55, Vince Helliwell 0:44:49, Ashley Jewell 0:45:10, Chris Stone 0:45:19, Holly Webbe 0:51:05 (and 3rd in category), Davina Brown 0:54:18, Candace Jewell 0:55:06, Gemma Steele 0:56:32, Michelle Bright 0:56:40, Wayne Washbrook 0:57:43, Edwina Stevenson 1:01:04, Gary Hatch 1:01:25, Phil Thomas 1:03:34, Jo Hedderly 1:07:57, Frank Dunlop (on his birthday) 1:23:53

Adrian Prust and Gemma Steele had impressive runs in this hot and sunny race, Adrian 0:38:59 and Gemma 0:52:34 – I believe they then went to the pub for refreshments

We’re very pleased to say at the Man Vs Horse race Mark Jenkin beat the horse(s) in an impressive 2nd place in 2:28:26

Shaun Antell smashed the Run Exe 5k course record finishing in 14:38. John Shapland also finished 1st in category in 20:18

For the 2nd year running Arron Kearney won the race, this year finishing in 0:37:16, James Jewell in an 4th in 0:42:53, Chris Colwill in 0:44:32, Mark Curtis 45:23, Vince Helliwell 0:47:16, Alex Dziruyunski 0: 52:47, Wayne Washbrook 0:53:41, Amanda Reeves 0:55:29, Candy Jewell 0:56:33, Stephen Reeves 0:59:55, Jo Hedderly 1:08:57

In France at the Trail de Guerledan 26k, Mark Jenkin finished 2nd and only 8 seconds behind the race winner in 1:59:38

Massive well done to Tamsin Stevens and Lizzi Stevenson who completed the London to Brighton 100k Ultra in 16 hours. That’s one long run. Well done girls and they kept smiling!
