Shaun Antell battled at the elite end finishing in 5th overall and 1st M35 in 30:24, Leanne Avery finished in 44:18

Chester 10k

Our legend John Shapland was today representing England at MBNA Chester 10K he achieved an amazing 42:03 time (41:51 chip time)

Granite Way 20 miles

Martin Colwill finished 3rd and 1st in category in 2:10:31, Jo Bedler 2:38:25 and 1st in category, Helen Colwill and Lorraine Clements finished together in 2:45:52 and again both 1st in category and a strong run by Gemma Steele who gave everyone else a 30 minute head start finishing in an official time of 3:32:33 but in actual running time 3:03:00!!

Bideford Half Marathon 2023

Bideford AAC’s Ronnie Richmond took 1st place in a new course record time of 65:35, closely followed by club mate Shaun Antell in 65:41, who also broke the previous course record of 66:09. In 3rd place was Simon Fox from Exeter Harriers in 67:26. The winning woman was Rebecca Ezra-Ham from Tamar Trotters in 77:45, followed by Bideford AAC’s Sammy Antell in 78:13 and Alison McEwing from Erm Valley Harriers in 3rd in 79:05

Bideford 10 Mile 2022

In 1st place Olympic Athlete Phil Norman from Woodford Green AC in a new course record of 0:49:58, in 2nd place Great British Athlete Ronnie Richmond from Bideford AAC in 0:50:30, in 3rd place from Bideford AAC Shaun Antell in 0:51:11. The 1st female was Rebecca Ezra from Tamar Trotters in 0:59:04, 2nd Nikki Kelly from Tavistock AC in 1:00:45 and in 3rd Alison McEwing from Erme Vallet Harriers in 1:00:48
