Manchester Marathon

It was again PB central, Josh Benford was first Blue over the line in an awesome PB time of 2:30:07. After being undecided whether to run James Puglsey also ran an huge PB of 2:42:03. It was John O’Donoghue’s debut marathon and he joined the sub 3 club with a time of 2:55:09, Michael Harris finished in 3:00:48, also a PB of over 5 minutes, and Lorna Watts ran a super super quick time of 3:20:24 (30 minutes under GFA)

Newport Marathon and 10k

Jess Gierke smashed it and completed the marathon is a fabulous PB time of 4:12:40. While at the Newport 10k Shaun Antell had a podium finish taking 2nd place in 0:30:11 (and got some flowers too!)

Good Friday Relays 2023

One of our favourite club events of the year – it’s so lovely to have our juniors and seniors of all ages and abilities running together. The sportsman’s ship between every runner is fabulous, and it’s great seeing the adults supporting and inspiring the junior runners throughout the whole race.

Bristol Track Club 5k

Some amazing performances: Dan Mapp 14:46 (PB!), Ronnie Richmond 14:54, Martin Colwill 17:09, Simon Mugglestone 18:11, Helen Colwill 21:34 (PB!)

Fast Friday 10k

Some fantastic results at Exeter. Serane Stone was 1st FV45 in 39:17 and John Shapland had his 1st race as MV70 winning his category in 41:39

Brighton Marathon

Our lovely Blues Family ran amazing times Gemma Steele snuck under the 4 hours in 3:59:27, Michelle Bright our seasoned Brighton Marathon runner 4:06:57, Lucy Ord 4:28:27, Jenny 4:28:17

Cardiff Bay 10k

Shaun Antell battled at the elite end finishing in 5th overall and 1st M35 in 30:24, Leanne Avery finished in 44:18

Chester 10k

Our legend John Shapland was today representing England at MBNA Chester 10K he achieved an amazing 42:03 time (41:51 chip time)

Granite Way 20 miles

Martin Colwill finished 3rd and 1st in category in 2:10:31, Jo Bedler 2:38:25 and 1st in category, Helen Colwill and Lorraine Clements finished together in 2:45:52 and again both 1st in category and a strong run by Gemma Steele who gave everyone else a 30 minute head start finishing in an official time of 3:32:33 but in actual running time 3:03:00!!
