In France at the Trail de Guerledan 26k, Mark Jenkin finished 2nd and only 8 seconds behind the race winner in 1:59:38

Brighton 100k Ultra

Massive well done to Tamsin Stevens and Lizzi Stevenson who completed the London to Brighton 100k Ultra in 16 hours. That’s one long run. Well done girls and they kept smiling!

Chester Half Marathon

Martin Colwill represented England in the Chester half marathon, finishing 6th in the England Master’s championship in 1:20.12

Great Run Bristol 10k

We had some fantastic running by a trio of Blues at the Great Run Bristol 10k at the weekend! Martin Colwill 36:30, Leanne Avery 43:28, Helen Colwill 46:35

Bideford 10k 2023

Massive congratulations to everyone who ran the Bideford 10k yesterday you were all awesome

The winner was Phil Norman From Woodford Green AC in 30:35, closely followed by Shaun Antell from Bideford AAC in 30:39, in 3rd Ronnie Richmond from Bideford AAC in 31:05

The winning female was Nikki Kelly from Tavistock AC in 35:55, in 2nd Ruby Orchard from Cornwall AC in 38:28, in 3rd in her debut 10k Freya Woodhead from Bideford AAC in 38:51

Mid-Cheshire 5k

Incorporating the England 5k Championships, Dan Mapp finished in the top 25 in an almighty 14:51 and Simon Mugglestone in 17:33

TCS London Marathon 2023

In the Elite race, another super strong sub 2:20 run by Ronnie Richmond finishing 26th overall and 3rd in category in 2:19:00 – simply wow

All our runners put in a fabulous performance, Arron Kearney is still in shock after running an incredible 2:35:46, Sammy Antell finished in 2:46:16 after setting of at 2:48 pace but felt good so kicked on! Martin Colwill was 3 minutes behind Sammy in 2:49:29, Serane Stone ran her first marathon as a Blue in 2:59:38, Tamsin Stevens finished in 3:09:10 with Gary Blight just behind in 3:09:18, Vince Helliwell was our 2nd speedy postman in 3:18:15, Jo Bedler is super happy to be under 3:30 in 3:28:30, Helen Colwill finished in 3:34:09 and then TeamColwill headed to the pub 🍺 Steve Turner won the club marathon draw and finished in 3:38:50, Lorraine Clements came smiling over the line in 3:40:18, Dave Stevenson couldn’t quite keep up with his daughter Sammy but still crossed the line in a great time of 3:48:42. Linda Eastmond ran a cracking race finishing in 4:03:38. And finally David Fortune who has been injured for most of his training but was determined to complete his run for Water Aid, dressed as a toilet he crossed the line in 6:11:23.
