The Bideford 10k is a popular run between Bideford and Instow
The course is a combination of road and track taking in some of Torridgeside’s outstanding beauty, including a section of the renowned Tarka Trail. The course is moderately flat with two small hills and should prove to be both challenging and a good opportunity for runners to achieve a fast time!!

For 2017 this race will be chip to chip as well as race to chip times. The start will be moved slightly to allow this to timing. Race numbers with built-in chips and information will be posted to runner
All finishers will receive a medal plus race memento. The medals will be unique to each race – run all three of our races and your medals will stack together! Our 2017 medals will be a different colour to those in 2016. The 10k is the second race in the series. Prizes in all categories.

This year we are proud to be fundraising for Children’s Hospice South West in their 25th Anniversary year, so by taking part runners will also help to support the work of this local charity. If you wish to help raise money for CHSW a sponsorship form is available here.

Race assembly 10.20am (please allow plenty of time to collect you race number if you are a late entry)
Changing rooms, showers, bar and refreshments available. We regret that the course is unsuitable for wheelchairs. No dogs, pushchairs or walkers permitted. Entry fees are non-refundable. Competitors must be aged 15 or over. No on-day entries.
