The Bideford 10k is a popular run between Bideford and Instow
The course is a combination of road and track taking in some of Torridgeside’s outstanding beauty, including a section of the renowned Tarka Trail. The course is moderately flat with two small hills and should prove to be both challenging and a good opportunity for runners to achieve a fast time!!

Race numbers with built-in chips and information will be posted to runner. Race assembly 10.20am (please allow plenty of time to collect you race number if you are a late entry)
All finishers will receive a medal plus race memento. The medals will be unique to each race – run all three of our races and your medals will stack together! Our 2018 medals will be a different colour to those in 2016 and 2017. The 10k is the second race in the series. Prizes in all categories.
Facilities: changing rooms, showers, bar and refreshments available.
This year we are proud to be fundraising for Children’s Hospice South West, so by taking part runners will also help to support the work of this local charity. If you wish to help raise money for CHSW a sponsorship form is available here.

Affiliated entries must be members of a UKA or ARC affiliated running club only (tri-clubs and running groups are not eligible for affiliated entry)
Competitors must be aged 15 or over.
Entry fees are non-refundable.
Race places can be transferred between runners but can not be deferred or transferred to another of our races.
No walkers, dogs or pushchairs permitted. Runners ignoring this rule risk disqualification.
We regret that the course is unsuitable for wheelchairs.
For your safety and that of all runners strictly no music headphones and earphones (including bone conducting versions) during the race. If a marshal sees a runner wearing headphones or earphones the runner’s number will be noted and they will be removed from the results.
